CareerXplorer: Shop Experience Journey at Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Co Ltd

On the 24th and 25th of May, four S4 students took part in the CareerXplorer: Shop Experience Journey at Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Co Ltd organized by JYC Girls Impact Foundation. Our students had an enriching internship at Wai Yuen Tong, where they gained hands-on experience in the world of traditional Chinese medicine.

 

Through engaging in store tasks and observing shop operations, they acquired essential retail skills such as customer service and product promotion, while also earning fascinating insights into traditional Chinese medicine practices including medicine weighing and herbal preparation.

 

Furthermore, with patient staff members guiding through tasks, our students expressed much appreciation for the retail industry with newfound knowledge. The experience was both inspiring and educational.
