Sichuan and Chongqing Study Tour 2024
5 students from the School Prefect Team took part in the Sichuan and Chongqing study tour regarding the development of mainland China held by the Sai Kung District office to enhance their knowledge about our mother country, and broaden their horizons in respect to the history, renowned architecture and the economy of mainland China.
The outing was held from 10-15 October 2024. Through visiting famous historical sites, for instance Three Gorges, Dujiangyan Water Conservancy to list but a few, participating in hands-on Chuanju DIY activities and exchanging with local students, they had the opportunity to:
- Deepen their understanding of the history of our mother country.
- Experience the traditional culture of Sichuan and Chongqing.
- Exchange and understand the cultures and customs of local youngsters in mainland at similar age.
