Historic Milestone: Celebrating PLKLFC’s First HKDSE "Super Top Scorer"

We are immensely proud to announce a historic milestone for Po Leung Kuk Laws Foundation College (PLKLFC)! In the 2026 HKDSE examinations, our student L.Y. Wong achieved extraordinary academic distinction, attaining the highest score of 5** in 7 subjects - English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics (Compulsory Part), Mathematics Extended Part Module 2 (M2), Chemistry, Physics, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), in addition to an "Attained" grade in Citizenship and Social Development (CSD).

 

A New Journey in Medicine: CUHK White Coat Inauguration Ceremony

As one of Hong Kong's elite top scorers, L.Y. Wong ranks in the top tier of all school candidates territory-wide. He has been successfully admitted to his dream programme: the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Global Physician-Leadership Stream (MBChB-GPS) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

On 19 September 2026, he attended the prestigious CUHK Faculty of Medicine White Coat Inauguration Ceremony for Medical Freshmen at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This solemn ceremony marked the official beginning of his medical education and reinforced his commitment to the medical profession. Seeing L. Y. Wong stand proudly on stage to take his medical oath is a true celebration of our school's ethos in nurturing compassionate healthcare leaders.

Breaking my study time into focused 25-minute intervals followed by short 5-minute breaks helped me retain complex knowledge, stay mentally fresh, and maintain high productivity across long study sessions."

 

Inquiry-Based Learning: "At PLKLFC, learning goes far beyond memorising textbooks. The school-based Biotechnology curriculum and hands-on scientific research encouraged me to ask questions, design experiments, and analyze data critically."
